This amazing slideshow is 20 years in the making. It's a photographic compilation of some of the key moments from the Graphic Expo held annually in the Philippines. This is one of the biggest and most successful trade events where many top brands and companies are well represented, and which attracts a sizable crowd not only from the Philippines but also from several other Asian countries as well as from the rest of the world. It's a fantastic hub where printing, technology and several other industries converge every year.
Watching this video presentation, I was mesmerized. And I must admit, I felt quite nostalgic for several reasons: the expo and conference is organized and run by my very good friend, the superwoman Norelyn Babiera, president and co-founder of Fiera de Manila; I recognize some of my colleagues in many of the pictures; I've walked up and down the isle of the exhibit hall of the expo for several years; and best of all, I've been entrusted with the amazing privilege of conducting topical photography seminars and workshops for a number of years through the tracks and modules produced by the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI) headed by Jun Miranda.
To celebrate the 20th year of creative imaging and printing through the Graphic Expo, this year's banner theme is "Disruptive Technologies & Connectivity: Changing The World." The expo and conference will be held on June 4-6, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Manila, Philippines. If you have the opportunity to go to the Graphic Expo 2015, don't pass up on this chance. You won't regret it. Going there, and being there, is time well spent. It is so worth it.
