A canopy of leaves ...

There's nothing exciting about wait times. But you can always turn it to something good. If you're in line waiting for your turn, you'll probably want to do a little something productive on your iPhone. You can shoot a quick text message or maybe send a short email. Of course, you can also play a little game. That helps to while away the time more quickly instead of being bored stiff. Or, if you're like me, whenever I get into wait times, I take out my iPhone, I look around for interesting things that I can take pictures of, and then snap a few shots. More often than not, on these wait times, I'll be able to come up with some really nice images. Looking around and snapping pictures with my iPhone during wait times is a little personal exercise I do to help me develop seeing things photographically. Try it some time, when you've got nothing else better to do, especially during wait times.

This image was shot during one of those unexpected "wait times" with the iPhone 6 Plus. Post-processing and image enhancement were done on Apple's new Photos app for the Mac OS X. Copyright © 2015.
